Communication Abstracts and Criminal Justice Abstracts now available from EBSCO

Stockholm University Library currently subscribes to Communication Abstracts and Criminal Justice Abstracts on the CSA Illumina platform. EBSCO Publishing have purchased the rights to this product and from July 2011 both databases will only be available on the EBSCO Host platform.

New trial: Women and Social Movements International, 1840 to Present

Women and Social Movements, International, 1840 to Present is the collaborative product of three years of work by hundreds of historians, librarians, and archivists. The first release of this digital archive in December 2010, includes about 25,000 pages of a collection that will eventually offer 150,000 pages of conference proceedings, reports of international women's organizations, publications and web pages of women's non-governmental organizations, and letters, diaries, and memoirs of women active internationally since the mid-nineteenth century.

Stockholm University has a trial until 7 February 2011.

New sociology database (SocINDEX) available on trial

SocINDEX (EBSCO) features more than 2.1 million records and offers comprehensive coverage of sociology, encompassing all sub-disciplines and closely related areas of study.

Stockholm University has a trial until 31 December 2011.
